President Gotabaya begins tour of India

Inaugural overseas tour of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa : Bilateral talks to be held with India

COLOMBO (News 1st)-President Gotabaya Rajapaksa left to India this afternoon, on a two-day official visit. The delegation left to India, on a scheduled aircraft of SriLankan Airlines. The President will be accompanied by a 05 member delegation during this tour including Secretary to the President P.B. Jayasundara, Foreign Secretary Ravinatha Ariyasinghe, Secretary to the Treasury S.R. Attygalle and Advisor to the President Lalith Weeratunga. Director-General of the President's media division Mohan Samaranayake speaking to News 1st said during the visit, the President will hold bilateral talks with his Indian counterpart Ram Nath Kovind and Indian prime minister Narendra Modi. President Rajapaksa is visiting India following an invitation extended by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
