Journalist: We saw in a newspaper that the voting percentage is 50%. Mahinda Rajapaksa: It is a joke. We have a massive percentage. I think they only have a percentage of 43%. We have more than that. Journalist: Sajith Premadasa says that a country where the unborn children are not burdened with debt, will be created. Can he do that? Mahinda Rajapaksa: Can he fulfill even one of the promises he makes? He is making promises he can't fulfill. Some of those promises are not included in his manifesto. But we can fulfill our promises. We can save the people from the ditch that they have fallen in to. They will launch several campaigns to sling mud at us. People are smart now. They can't be deceived. Journalist: There are rumors that the TNA has split. What's the situation? Mahinda Rajapaksa: I visited Jaffna and Kilinochchi. It was clear to me that the TNA has now become an invalid coin. Other political forces are being established. Journalist: Sajith Premadasa makes statements and on the other hand the Prime Minister makes different statements. Mahinda Rajapaksa: I saw in a newspaper that if Ranil and Sajith come into power, there will be more conflict. Journalist: Will you do something about the April 21st attacks, after you come into power? Mahinda Rajapaksa: We will definitely conduct investigations and take legal action to anyone who was involved.
