MCC compact before the parliament after the election : Mangala Samaraweera

COLOMBO (News 1st) - At a media briefing earlier today, Minister Mangala Samaraweera shared his thoughts about the MCC compact. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Finance noted that even if the agreement is presented to the cabinet it would only be valid after it receives parliamentary approval. He added that it could not be presented at the parliament as of this moment and went on to note that it would be submitted to the parliament after the presidential election.
