Body of a man discovered from a house close to Viharamahadevi Park

Colombo (News 1st): A body was found at a residence along the Dharmapala Avenue opposite the Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo, today. The Police noted that the body was discovered following a search operation of the house due to a tip-off. The victim is a 49-year-old resident from Athurugiriya, Homagama. The suspect who is believed to have committed the crime has been identified and investigations are underway to arrest him.
