13-year-old strangled to death

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Three people were murdered including a child in the Agalawatta Police division and Katuwana. Police said A 13-year-old child was strangled to death and a relative of the child was arrested in relation to the incident. According to the Police, the suspect was produced before the courts and detained for 24 hours. Meanwhile, a woman and a man were stabbed to death using a sharp object in a line room in Agalawatta. The victims were a 49-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man. The suspect who committed the murder is yet to be identified. Further investigations are currently underway.
