673 complaints on upcoming Presidential Election

Colombo (News 1st): The National Elections Commission noted that 673 complaints have been filed regarding the upcoming presidential election. Commissioner-General of the NEC Saman Sri Ratnayake noted that 35 of these complaints were filed yesterday (October 16). Out of the total number of complaints received, 650 complaints have been received regarding violations of election laws. Meanwhile, 6 complaints have been filed regarding election violence, while, 17 complaints have been filed on minor election-related issues. PAFFREL has received 62 complaints pertaining to the upcoming presidential election.
