Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Election tomorrow

Colombo (News 1st): Ballot boxes for the Elpitiya PS Election will be transported to the Election centers from the Elpitiya Vocational Training Authority premises today (October 10). Galle District Returning Officer Somaratne Vidanapathirana stated all necessary arrangements have been made to transport the ballot boxes and other items to the centers with full security. There are 53,384 eligible voters for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha elections tomorrow (October 11). 47 polling centers have been set up in 17 electorates and 155 candidates are contesting from 5 recognized political parties. 28 members are to be elected to the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha from the polls. Counting of votes will take place at the polling stations itself. The final results will be released at the Elpitiya Vocational Training Authority polling station.
