Contact numbers introduced to reach aid during calamities

Colombo (News 1st) - The Police has introduced two contact numbers to aid people to reach help during an urgent disastrous situation. The police further stated that 50 teams comprising lifeguards specialized in disaster relief have been deployed to the districts of Galle, Matara, and Kalutara. In addition, 50 boats have been allocated to aid the communities exposed to any calamities. The contact numbers are : 011 25 87 225 / 011 24 54 576
