Can members be appoitned to the UNP working committee?

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Can members be appointed to the working committee of the United National Party in secret? Attorney-at-law Upul Jayasuriya analyzed this issue. Upul Jayasuriya, Chairman of the United Lawyers' Association noted that the working committee has been increased to 92 members. He added that people have not been appointed to certain official positions inside the working committee and as examples, he mentioned secretary for human rights, secretary on international affairs, the main organizer of the government might be there in the committee and the same goes for the deputy organizer. He went on to note that group leaders of provincial councillors group, there are no leaders of the provincial councillors but the word group leader can be used loosely. The provincial council group leaders who were there than can still be considered as members of the working committee.
