COLOMBO (News 1st) – The opening ceremony of the watercolour exhibition of renowned Chinese artist, Master Rongmao Wang took place in Colombo today(July 29).

The exhibition was organized by the Sri Lanka China Trade and Investment Council in collaboration with the Department of Visual & Performing Arts.

Artist Rongmao Wang visited the country with 20 collectable paintings commissioned especially for Sri Lanka.

Master Wang’s paintings depict nature, landscapes and beautiful calligraphy in traditional Chinese brushwork. He is also a famous ceramic artist with unique glazing techniques.

The Exhibition will continue until the 31st of this month.
