Pakistan national arrested with 2.85 kilos of heroin

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A Pakistan national was arrested at a hotel in Colpetty with 2.85 kg of heroin. The raid was carried out by the Narcotic Bureau and the Special Task Force collectively. The suspect has arrived at Sri Lanka on the 7th of June and had expected to travel to South Africa. The 48-year-old suspect is to be produced before the Fort Magistrate Court today. Police stated that they would request a 7-day detention order from the court.
