Body of 23 year old found on upcountry railway line

COLOMBO (News 1st): The body of a 23-year-old person was discovered between the rail tracks of the Talawakelle and Watagoda railway stations this morning (May 25). The deceased has been identified as a resident of Holyrood, Talawakelle. The police are conducting further investigations to identify whether the death was a result of a murder or an accident. The body is due to be sent for the post mortem examination to the Nuwara Eliya district general hospital after the magisterial inquiry.
