Ravi Karunanayake and Azath Salley meet Gnanasara Thero

Colombo (News 1st): Minister Ravi Karunanayake and Governor Azath Salley met with Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero today (May 22). Speaking to the media Governor Azath Salley said that they hope that Gnanasara Thero will be released soon and noted that they have also spoken to the President concerning the release of  Gnanasara Thero. He added that what was mentioned by Gnanasara Thero in the past has now been proven and all nationalities in Sri Lanka must stand together. He added that the country cannot go forward divided and that there must be national reconciliation.
