Health Ministry to register the public with nearest hospitals

Colombo (News 1st): The Ministry of Health has taken measures to register every person with the nearest hospital. Director-General Dr Anil Jasinghe said the program will commence across 60 hospitals from May 6th. He said patients can continue to visit any hospital for treatment. However he added, the purpose of the program was to strengthen and improve the service provided by local hospitals.
