Mahinda Rajapaksa at Kataragama says government sure of crushing defeat at provincial council elections

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Opposition leader Mahinda Rajapakse visited Kataragama yesterday (April 16) to get blessings for the New Year. He initially visited Kiriwehera and subsequently the Kataragama Temple. He met journalists and noted that the government does not wish to hold provincial council elections as they are certain to suffer a crushing defeat.
