Report on coroners handed over to Thalatha Athukorala

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The twelve-member committee appointed to inquire into the conduct of coroners handed over its report to the Minister of Justice and Prison Reforms, Thalatha Athukorala. The report was handed over by the Chairman of the committee, Senior Professor Ravindra Fernando. The committee was appointed to look into the code of conduct of coroners in post-mortem examinations and to look into necessary legal reforms.
