Chaminda Wijesiri fails to present himself to Bandarawela Police

Colombo (News 1st): Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera said that MP Chaminda Wijesiri has been instructed to be present at the Bandarawela Police over an altercation reported on Sunday (Feb 10). However, the MP has so far failed to comply with the request. Police said on Sunday an altercation had taken place between personnel from the Police Narcotics Bureau and the MP, his security officer and driver. A PNB constable was injured and admitted to the hospital, and the MPs Driver was arrested yesterday in a hospital where he admitted himself claiming he was assaulted. ---------
