COLOMBO (News 1st) - Islandwide protests were organized demanding that the executive presidency be abolished.
The silent protests were organized by the "New wings" organization.
Protests were staged opposite the Matara bus terminal, Fort railway station, Kandy railway station, and Badulla town.
