PM Wickremesinghe visits Kandy

COLOMBO (News 1st) - After being reappointed as the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and several Ministers made their first visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy today (December 28). After paying homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic the Prime Minister obtained the blessings of the Mahanayake of the Asgiri Chapter of the Siam Sect, Most Venerable Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thero. The Prime Minister also called on the Mahanayake of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siam Sect, Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Thero.
