Woman Arrested in Ganemulla with Rs. 180 Million Worth of Cocaine

COLOMBO (News 1st); A woman in posession of 4 kilograms and 423 grams of cocaine was arrested in Pol-athe, Ganemulla.

The arrest was carried out by the Western Province North Crime Division.

The drugs seized are valued at 180 million rupees.

Police say that the narcotics were found hidden inside a wardrobe in the suspect’s house. 

Additionally, 3,450 pills worth 20 million rupees were also recovered from the premises.

According to the police, the drug trafficking operation was coordinated from overseas.
