Colombo (News1st): The two suspect arrested with a haul of 231 kilograms of heroin in the seas off Beruwala as well as the owner of the trawler, on which the drugs were found, were remanded until the 03rd of January by Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne.

The Police Narcotic Bureau informed the court that the investigations are continuing. The recovered heroin was valued at Rs. 2.778 billion.
