Colombo (News1st): A silent protest organized by the Artists Association of the UNP was held opposite the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation today (December 1). Speaking to the media former Direction General of News, Attorney-at-law Sudharshana Gunawardena requested radio and television staff to act legally and lawfully. He further requested them to follow the constitution. Former Chairman of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) Siddi Mohomed Farok noted that he is still the legal chairman of the SLBC. He stated that the manner in which the corporations are acting at present is quite shameful.
