Bus conductor arrested with Rs. 600,000 worth Heroin

Colombo (News 1st) - According to Police, a bus conductor has been arrested in Bandarawela, for the possession of 300 packets of Heroin with a street value of Rs. 600,000. The suspect is a conductor of a bus along the Bandarawela - Welimada route. Police had managed to apprehend the suspect by sending a police officer undercover. Police stated the suspect is to be produced before the Bandarawela Magistrate's Court today and a detention order will be sought to interrogate the suspect.
