COLOMBO (News 1st) – Vadivel Suresh says he will resign from his State Ministerial portfolio of Plantation Industries. This follows several crossovers that took place earlier today.

Piyasena Gamage and A.H.M. Fowzie, who were sworn in as state ministers recently crossed over and took their seat in the opposition today.

Manusha Nanayakkara, who also resigned from his deputy ministerial portfolio recently, also sat in the opposition.

And Wasantha Senanayake, who was also sworn in as Minister of Tourism and Wildlife recently said, he will be joining the United National Party again.
