COLOMBO (News 1st) – An individual was arrested in Mathugama over the possession of a locally manufactured bomb.

The Police confirmed the arrest was made based on a tip-off received.

The arrested suspect was identified as a 37-year-old resident of Yatadola.

He is due to be produced before the Mathugama Magistrate Court today (October 14).
