Anuradhapura prison inmates launch fast

Colombo (News1st): 08 inmates of the Anuradhapura Prisons, who were taken into custody under the Prevention of Terrorism Act have commenced a fast.
The inmates demand the cases filed against them be taken up in an expeditious manner. Prisons Spokesperson Thushara Upuldeniya stated that their demands have been directed to the Ministry of Justice.
