Interim injunction issued preventing sale of Hilton Colombo

Colombo (News1st) - An interim injunction order has been issued preventing the sale of the Hilton Colombo. The contentious saga of the Colombo Hilton hotel took a new turn when Nihal Sri Amarasekara applied and obtained an injunction order temporarily preventing the sale of the property. The temporary order was issued on the 31st of July by the Colombo District Court against the Secretary to the Treasury and the competent authority of Hotel Developers Lanka PLC - the owning company of the Colombo Hilton. The case has been listed for hearing tomorrow.
