6 year old girl molested and murdered

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The postmortem on the body of a six-year-old girl discovered inside a well in the Sulipuram area in Jaffna was performed at the Jaffna teaching hospital today. The postmortem had revealed that the girl was sexually abused and the child had been strangled to death and then dumped into the well. The girl was reported missing from her residence since last afternoon and when her parents had searched for her, they made the gruesome discovery. The victim was Sivanesvaram Rejina, a grade one student. Police have launched investigations to apprehend the suspects.
