The recording of evidence at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating SriLankan Airlines, SriLankan Catering and Mihin Lanka continued today as well. Evidence was recorded from Indika Gunawardena, the representative from the Department of Registrar of Companies. Gunawardena was questioned about the registration of SriLankan Catering today. The witness was requested to submit the share capital for SriLankan Airlines, SriLanka Catering and Mihin Lanka from 2006 to 2018 as recorded with the Registrar of Companies within the next two weeks. Today, the sitting was adjourned as the previous day's proceedings were not available for the commissioners and the attorneys to peruse. Senior Deputy Solicitor General Niel Unamboowe requested the Commissioner to write to the Presidential Secretariat of the issue in preparing proceedings as it has an impact on the interviews and the investigations that are underway. The commission will convene again tomorrow.
