Police raid drug filled Hikka party, 19 arrested

Colombo (News1st) - 19 suspects who were in possession of drugs were arrested during a raid of a hotel in Wewala, Hikkaduwa. According to the police the raid was launched on a party organised in Hikkaduwa by a group of youth who had met over the internet. The raid was launched with the assistance of police officers from Meetiyagoda, Karandeniya and Baddegama with a search warrant issued by the Galle Magistrate. The police added that 4 male suspects and 3 female suspects were arrested for possession of Marijuana and Cocaine.
