Warehouse fire in Ratmalana

Colombo (News1st) -  A fire broke out at a storage facility owned by a Private Clothing Chain located down Borupana Road in Ratmalana. The Dehiwala - Mount Lavinia Fire Brigade said it deployed 02 units to douse the fire which was reported this afternoon. In addition, the Mount Lavinia Fire Brigade had dispatched 03 units to contain the fire. Meanwhile, a fire erupted in a clothing store in Mirigama. The Gampaha Fire Brigade stated that the shop suffered considerable damages. A spokesperson stated that the fire has now been doused using two firefighting units. The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed.
