Future activities of NCPA disrupted

Future development programmes of National Child Protection Authority disrupted

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Employees of the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) say the future development programmes at the Authority, have been disrupted due to the failure to appoint a board of directors. According to the Authority, the official tenure of the director board at the NCPA concluded on the 9th of April. The employees noted that the director board did not convene during the previous months as well, due to various issues. When News 1st inquired the matter, Chairman of the NCPA H. M. Abeyratne said members will be appointed to the board in the coming days. The chairman noted that the President will name the individuals who will be appointed.
