COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Sirasa / Union Assurance Vesak Zone will be held from the 29th of April to the 1st of May, at the environs of the MTV/MBC head office in Union Place.

The Sacred Relics of Sarayuth and Mugalan Maharahathan Theros which were placed at the Maradana Mahabodhi Agrashrawaka Maha Viharaya were brought to the Morawaka Banagala Viharaya this morning (April 25), following religious observances.

Over the next few days, these relics will make their way to the Sirasa vesak zone. Sacred relics from a number of other temples will begin it’s journey to the Sirasa vesak zone over the next few days.
