The Colombo Crimes Division recorded statements once again today (April 13) regarding the unruly behavior opposite MTV/MBC HQ recently.
A group of people arrived opposite the MTV/MBC HQ moments following the vote on the No-Confidence Motion against the Prime Minister. These individuals, behaved in an unruly manner, lighting fire-crackers and obstructing the road.
The individual summoned to the CCD today was UNP Urban Councilor Kithsiri Rajapaksa, the Chief suspect believed to have organized the group.
Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said a statement was recorded from him for over 2 hours.
