The Department of Motor Traffic says that steps will be taken to reissue new driving licences to those whose documents were destroyed in the floods.

Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic Jagath Chandrasiri said, the programme to issue the driving licences will be conducted via the District Secretariats of the affected districts.
