The vote on the resolution presented to the EU Parliament to deny the GSP plus concession to Sri Lanka, was defeated a short while ago.

Speaking to Newsfirst from Brussels, Deputy Foreign Minister, Dr. Harsha de Silva said that 436 votes were cast against the resolution, while 119 were cast in favour, with 22 abstentions.
