A tornado has hit Manzanita, tearing through the coastal town of Manzanita as severe weather pounds the Pacific Northwest.
The tornado ripped through Manzanita, a town of some 600 people which is located approximately 85 miles east of Portland, leaving a trail of damage and destruction in its wake.
Strong winds brought down dozens of trees and blocked roads and highways in Manzanita, leading to the town’s mayor declaring a state of emergency.
However, no injuries have been reported.
