The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have said Canada gave their family “happy memories” as their tour of Canada came to an end.

The royal couple are on their way home from their first official overseas tour as a family of four.

Kate and William began the day with visits to local charities where the Duchess flew the flag for high street fashion in a Zara blazer and jeans.

The pair thanked Canadians for their hospitality during the tour in a warm public message.
