The third One Day International between Sri Lanka and Australia is set to get underway at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium today. Having scored 10, 248 runs inclusive of 22 centuries and 47 fifties in 329 ODIs opener Tilekeratne Dilshan is set to bid farewell following today’s game.
Speaking at a media briefing, Sri Lankan Captain, Angelo Mathews said that the team is well prepared to face on the tourists today. Meanwhile, the Australian team which was lead by captain, Steven Smith will be lead by stand in captain David Warner following Cricket Australia’s decision to rest Steven Smith ahead of the upcoming cricket season.
Currently both the tourists and hosts have one match each from the five ODIs, and the 3rd ODI between Sri Lanka and Australia is scheduled to get underway at 2.30 p.m. today.
