The 20th Presidential Export Awards Ceremony,  organised by the Export Development Board was held under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena at BMICH on Tuesday, August 9.

The Awards Ceremony was held to felicitate and recognise exporters who have made a significant contribution to Sri Lanka’s exports.

One hundred and thirteen (113) awards were presented under ten related fields for the year 2014 – 2015.

• Colombo, and City schools closed from 27th to 1st
• Queues remain despite no assurances of imports

• 3-hour power cuts approved by PUCSL
• Work from Home circular for public sector extended
