Civil society activists as well as opposition activists called on the government not to extend the tenure of the Central Bank Governor

UPFA MP, Bandula Gunawardene stated that if  the CBSL governor’s tenure is extended on June 30 all foreign investors will withdraw their money, as well as the remaining funds, and leave the country.
