Mudiyan Sellage helped Sri Lanka clinch another Silver medal at the 12th South Asian Games which is currently underway in India. Sellage clinched the medal, the first on day 4 of the games, in the 75kg Women’s Weightlifting category.

India’s Kavita Devi won Gold while Firoga Fervin from Bangladesh took Bronze. Mudiyan Sellage’s Silver medal adds to Sri Lanka’s total medal tally of 41 with 8 Golds, 19 Silvers and 14 Bronze medals.

Sri Lanka currently stands second in the overall rankings of the games while India holds the top spot.
