Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena has been appointed as the acting organiser of the SLFP for Matara.

The President’s Media Unit reported that relevant letter of appointment was handed over to him by President Maithripala Sirisena. He has been granted the portfolio, in addition to the post of chief organiser for Hakmana.

Meanwhile, S.M. Ranjith Samarakoon has been appointed as the SLFP convener of Mihintale.
