Religious Leaders express their views on the Sirasa Vesak Zone

Religious leaders and prominent personalities continued to  visit the Sirasa Vesak Zone on Tuesday, May 05.

Chief Prelate – Kotte Sri Kalyani Samasri Dharma Sangha Council Most Ven. Iththepane Dhammalankara Thera noted that the Sirasa Vesak Zone has become one of the most popular programmes in the country as it brings great relief to the eyes and minds of the people. He expressed deep appreciation of the meritorious deed undertaken by Sirasa and the Maharaja Organisation.

Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, toured the Sirasa Vesak Zone  after paying homage to the Sacred relics on Monday night.

Minister of Housing and Samurdhi Sajith Premadasa noted that this exceptional deed has become a great strength to the spread of the Dhamma across the country.

He extended his gratitude and best wishes to the Maharaja Organsation, the Sirasa Media Network and John Keells for organising this event and blessed the organizsation to carry out these events with the courage, strength and fortune – to continue this task every year.

Leader of the Jana Setha Peramuna Venerable Battaramulle Seelarathana Thera noted that this programme undertaken by Sirasa is truly historic. He invited everyone to come and worship the Sacred Relics and meditate on the qualities of Lord Buddha.
