UNP Provincial Councillor Harshana Rajakaruna says that preparations of parliamentary general election should be made after the 100-day programme.

Harshana Rajakaruna made this statement at a meeting held to educate the party supporters in the Millatta area in Kirindiwela.

The Western Provincial Councillor of UNP said that the President and the Prime Minister of this country, initially from two parties, have joined together now to do what is needed for the country – to establish good governance and to make this country a country for everyone to live, without caste and creed differences, through democracy.

He added: This is happening for the first time in the country. We must support this. We must support this and after supporting the 100- day program we are ready to go into a general election.
