One hundred and five (105) Sri Lankan migrant workers facing various obstacles overseas will be brought back to the country.

Deputy Manager of the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau, Mangala Randeniya said that the batch of people will be brought back to the country over reasons such as obstacles faced at places of work and “personal.”

Thereby, 47 migrant workers from Qatar, 27 from Saudi Arabia and 21 migrant workers from Kuwait will be brought back to the country. The bureau noted that complaints could be lodged if justice is yet to be meted out to Sri Lankan migrant workers.
