The bodies of the two (2) jailers who were reported missing after a raft capsized on the Tisssawewa in Anuradhapura have been found.

Police said that the bodies were found on Tuesday morning by the officers of the Police Lifeguards Unit.
Five (5) jailers had been bathing in the Tissawewa in Anuradhapura on Monday evening and three of them had climbed on a raft and ventured further into the reservoir. Two (2) of the jailers were reported missing after the raft capsized.
The deceased who were residents of Rambukkana and Kadugannawa were aged 25 and 23 respectively at the time of their demise.
One (1) survivor is being treated at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
