Two Sri Lankan men had reportedly drowned in Umm Al Quwain, in the United Arab Emirates while they were swimming at separate locations in the Northern Emirate.
A twenty-three-year-old Sri Lankan had been swimming with friends at a hotel pool around midnight on Friday before they left him and went to their rooms.
His body was found floating in the water in the morning after he had reportedly drowned late at night in the absence of pool rescuers.
Another twenty-year-old Sri Lankan drowned on Friday evening while he was swimming at a UAQ beach. He was rushed to hospital in a serious condition but died on arrival.
