India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been fined 50% of his match fee following an altercation with England’s James Anderson during the first Test.

The 25-year-old was found guilty of “conduct contrary to the spirit of the game” by the International Cricket Council.

Jadeja faced a level two charge after a clash with the England bowler on day two of the Test on 10 July.

Anderson, 31, will face a level three misconduct charge on 1 August.
