Minister of Higher Education S.B. Dissanayake says that measures have been taken to address the issues faced by Allied Health Science students.
The Minister made this comment at an event held at the Kandy District Secretariat.
Minister of Higher Education, S.B.Dissanayake said;
“You need not take my word. We will not provide anything in writing to anyone of those persons. But, the students are calling us over the phone and are thanking us. The parents are thanking us. We will not provide answers to these foxes. We will answer to the children. We believe that this issue has been resolved completely. This morning these was only one person over there. I heard that there were around four of them next to our ministry. They simply want to drag this further. They visited the Attorney General. They wanted to seek the facilities to obtain 120 credits within three to four years. They all agreed before the Attorney General. Therefore, the Attorney General will issue a special gazette. The problem is resolved …”
